Book a measureWood comes in an impressive selection of finishes and surface treatments. Whether you are looking for a lacquered or oiled board, with a brushed or stained finish we can talk you through your options.
Applying an oil enhances the natural look and it brings out the texture and grain. Oiled floors are easy to maintain but do require additional aftercare and should be treated regularly with a fresh coat of oil.
Matt lacquer gives the impression of an untreated bare board. The surface is tactile and pleasing to walk on yet is also surprisingly hardwearing and easy to maintain.
As the name suggests this is a finish that attempts to age the wood, add a somewhat distressed and worn look, using a technique called hand scraping.
Brushed wood highlights the natural structure of the grain and adds to the texture of the board.
